thanks for the suggestion, only the problem is

1) I like and trust spyware doctor

and

2) I have just renwed my subscription for another 12 months only a month ago.

I don't want to throw away 11 months of a subscription to software I have just paid for.

CFP 3 already made a great impression! Clapping There is just one thing, that keeps bugging me - the loopback-addresses.

How can I configure loopback-addresses like in CPF 2.4 (App A may access 127.0.0.1:33, App B may access 127.0.0.1:1024-5000, etc)? Is it planned or did I just overlook this feature?  I run a local proxy (actually, more than one...), it has a serious security-impact.

Hello shinobiteno, thanks for your suggestions, I have added a predefined firewall policy for Peer to Peer (P2P) emule, just added it as trusted application and now is working perfect, I know is a great risk, but we know p2p clients such as Kaza, Limewire, utorrent, emule just to name a few, need not only "Outgoing" connections, but "Incomming" as well.  Thinking

I would like to take a look at your set, if you don´t mind send it to

Just found 400+ files in pending list, following a couple of installs. The problem is, you can tick them one by one or all together, no way to tick a subset (e.g. while sorted by path) is found. This can be quite tedious, hopefully multiselect and group tick get implemented

Me too Malbeth, but I had 1600+ files to review.  It would be nice to be able to use the Shift+Click option that you have in Explorer to select a range of files at one go.  Do I hear a ground swell of support for a feature request?

Ok guys,  Here is a rule set I am using for eMule, you might be interested in trying...

emule.exe     TCP     IN     48119
emule.exe     UDP     IN      7462
emule.exe     TCP     OUT   0-65535
emule.exe     UDP     OUT   0-65535

or whatever ports you have/use in emule Wink

I believe emule and utorrent only need a couple of ports IN, all the rest should be outbound
This way we don´t get a pop up message asking if we allow or deny  every time they access a port.

AFAIK loopback was moved to Defense+ but I've not tested this maybe is still possible to create firewall rules for loopback adresses.
