When choosing "Scan My System", the program attempts to update the virus signatures; after downloading the updates; then applying the updates, I get:

cfpconfig.exe - Application Error
The instruction at "0x7c91a5d3" referenced memory at "0x29b0ffcf". The memory could not be "written".
Click on OK to terminate the program

This occurs on several computers I manage... all Dell OptiPlex GX110 with Windows XP Pro SP3 32-bit
Operating from an Administrator account
Only other "security" software is CyberSitter version 9

The Scan works if the internet is not connected (it just skips trying to update).  But I have not been able toi update the virus signatures for more than 2 months now... Help!

This same behavior occurs when the firewall is first installed and asks if you want to scan the system...
This is the default configuration with Defense+ enabled.

PROBLEM SOLVED (at least on one machine; will test it on the others)!

CyberSitter Version 9 conflicted with the virus signature updates (but not with the scanning processes).  Simply had to first suspend CyberSitter, then updating went on with no problems.
