After installing CFP_Setup_3.0.25.378_XP_Vista_x32.exe on WinXp SP2 I did'n't change any default settings and starts editing global rules, when in "Global rules"" exists something rules, it's possible to add own rule (as it's expected), but when removing all global rules, I try to add own old rule and CFP popups messagebox "An invalid argument encountered" and it's not possible to add any global rule - each finishs by this msgbox

I'm reinstalled cpf and successfuly added global rule
"Allow IP In/Out From IP Any To IP Any Where Protocol Is Any"
after default
"Block ICMP In From IP Any To IP Any Where ICMP Message Is ECHO REQUEST",
but when them both are removed and list with global rules is CLEAN, it's not possible to add
"Allow IP In/Out From IP Any To IP Any Where Protocol Is Any"
There are no error in my rule Smiley

Confirmed Windows XP SP2, 3.0.25 x32.
You will get a nice Red X, An invalid argument was encountered.

Workaround:
Go to Firewall, Common Tasks, Stealth Port Wizard and select:
Alert me to incoming connections - stealth my ports on a per-case basis.
And your global rules are restored. After that you can add your "Allow IP In/Out From IP Any To IP Any Where Protocol Is Any" again.

So this look's like a minor BUG to me.
