Microsoft XP Professional Edition/32 bit/ Service Pack 2
Anti Virus / Anti-Spyware:
Computer Associates 9.0.0165/10.0.0.157
After installation of CFP my system has been getting intermittent BSODs. The failures are always at startup and if it doesn't crash at startup works just fine. CFP was installed about a month ago and must have crashed about ten times. As I said the crashes occur after installing CFP and stopped once I uninstalled the program. Prior to this problem, my system had been very stable. If you can figure this out, I'd like to try using it again. Thanks.

Hi,
Running:
XP home.
SuperAntiSpyware version 3.6.0.1000
AVG version 7.5
I downloaded and installed Firewall 3 yesterday.
Following the full scan (which only found one threat in a temp directory), I re-booted.
The re-boot got as far as the sign-in screen at which point it then started the re-boot again.
I've switched-off the automatic re-start using safe mode and extracted the Minidump file.
I've pasted-in the output from dumpchk but additionally attached the zipped raw data file in case you have tools which can interrogate it better!
Update: Following discussion with Josh123 I've changed the following:
SuperAntiSpyware now version 4.0.1154
AVG 7.5 REMOVED and AVAST! 4.8 INSTALLED
Sadly, I got BSoD following re-boot when removing AVG and had to re-boot in safe mode.
The same happened following the installation of avast!
New Minidump attached
Cheers!
***********************
Update: Following further chat with Josh123
Uninstalled, downloaded and re-installed Firewall 3 32bit. BSoD still occuring.

I have a problem with the kmwdfilter.sys and comodo personal firewall. the only way to get it back is to boot up in safe mode, uninstall comodo and then restart again and it works. if i delete the file out of the system32/drivers folder, my computer never gets BSOD but boots up perfectly...only one problem, my mouse then doesn''t work. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
comp. specs
XP Pro SP2 (32 bit)
File problem with: KMWDFILTER.SYS
400 gig hard drive
2 gig memory
intel core 2 duo E6600 (2.8 Ghz)
Thank you!
(wasn't sure what format to put the minidump file so i made 3)

So i just installed the latest version of and i still get a BSOD. I get them as my computer is starting up (after the logon sceen).I have windows XP pro x64, my AV is Avast (latest version - thought it was only incompatible on vista - if theres another good, free x64 virus checker out there please recommend), and my anti-spyware is spybot S&D. I debugged my crash dump and it says the offending file is nwlnkipx.sys - ie the network IPX protocol/driver. I also attached the crash dump incase someone here knows how to use the other parts (i added a .txt extension - why does the "post you minidump here thread not allow .dmp files??). Thanks.

Hi. I run WinXP SP3 (32bit) (before was SP2 and problem present too)
Comodo v.3.0.22.349 (on previous versions this problem was for me too... since 3.0.12... i dont remember when i first install comodo)
BSOD
BugCheck 1000007E, {c0000005, b774b448, baeaaab4, baeaa7b0}
***** Kernel symbols are WRONG. Please fix symbols to do analysis.
*** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for cmdhlp.sys
*** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for cmdhlp.sys
*** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for nltdi.sys
*** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for nltdi.sys
Probably caused by : cmdhlp.sys ( cmdhlp+1d4b )
nltdi.sys - it is NetLimiter2 driver - shaper for Win (it have firewall wich set Off)
BSOD appears chaotically, sometimes ma PC can work week and more without reboot. But sometimes it a few hours.

Hello
I'm running Windows XP SP2 Home Edition 32bit, CMP 3.0.22.349, I also run Avira Antivir Personal and Windows Defender.
After updating CMP few days ago (April 19), an online game I have (Seal Online) keeps crashing (BSOD) whenever I start the game. Before the April 19 update the game runs well with CMP. I tried reinstalling the game but it still crashes, I also tried disabling CMP and D+ before running the game but still the same. I attached the minidump of the first crash. Can someone help please, thanks in advance.

,
From your Minidump file
*** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for cmdguard.sys
*** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for avipbb.sys
avipbb.sys - Avira Antivir driver. Try to uninstall it, or try to install previous version of Comodo.

hi everyone,
I have widows xp sp2 pro, Comodo firewall 3, Comodo AV Beta 2, Spybot SD 1.5.
The problem: when i run a scan using the firewall's built in AV it scans as far as C/Documents and settings, then i get a BSOD and a message about bad_pool_header. this has happened 3 times, the third time i waited a half hour after booting to scan again. Any ideas or suggestions? Thanks in advance.
An edit: 32 bit windows XP comodo 3.022.349

I got BSOD during install. It appears to be during the driver installation for Comodo Firewall Miniport. I hope I've followed the directions well. Minidumps attached. Thanks for any help.
* Intel Core2 Quad 6600
* Xp Pro x64 SP2
* Actively-running security and utility applications: Acronis TrueImage, NOD32 3.0650 x64
* Specific symptoms of the bug: BSOD during install. I can reproduce during any install. "DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL. No driver file listed on Blue Screen though.
* Full admin account.
