Hibernate issue
« on: September 17, 2009, 09:12:51 AM »

Hi,

I installed ComodoDE latest version on my Sony VAIO laptop having -
WinXP Pro SP2,
40GB HDD (C:14GB - D:23GB),
1.25GB RAM,
Comodo Firewall,
AVG Antivirus.

ComodoDE works great, but after installing it, "Hibernate" option stopped working on my machine.

If you try to hibernate the system (with 3GB free space on C:\, 1.2GB used for hibernation), after displaying the initial "Preparing to hibernate..." message, the process simply exits without any error message. Any further attempts to hibernate gives the same result, but the other options like "Shutdown" and "Standby" work fine with ComodoDE installed.

If I uninstall ComodoDE, then "Hibernate" starts working again along with other options.

What can be done to get around this issue?

Regards,
Rad.
