windows update
« on: November 12, 2008, 05:18:17 AM »

hello... i was trying to install new windows updates on my xp sp3. Download went fine but as soon as updates are being installed, cmdagent.exe goes 100% cpu and i have to shut my computer down because it freezes. I tried three times, in installation mode and real-time scanning off, but it keeps happening again and again. Obviously i have the latest version of CIS.  Huh

What happens when you wait a couple of minutes? It is said that Windows Update can drive cmdagent temporarily up the walls...
