Hello. I have installed the CIS. I disabled all the options antivirus, firewall, defense + and sandbox to perform a scan with the Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Free. When going to conduct an analysis using this software I got the Blue Screen of Death. In order to do this without interfering the CIS had to go to Windows Task Manager and from there to finish it. Why CIS can not be disabled normally?

I don't see why for the need to diable CIS's components to do a on demand scan with MBAM. Never had an issue. A BSOD could have been caused by some other problem. I find this kinda odd.

What does the BSOD say? What error name and error number are given and what file does it say is involved?

What OS are you using?

I have a Acer Aspire 7730G, Windows Vista Home Premium, Intel Core 2 Duo T6400, NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT, 2 GHz.
I uninstalled and reinstalled the CIS and now the image freezes when I do an analysis by disabling the antivirus.

What does the BSOD say?

I could not write it down because it is instantly restarted. But I think I read something that said "dump" or something similar.

You have Windows set to automatically reboot when it crashes. Then you will see the blue screen flash only for a split second. Please download bsodview from Nirsoft and see let us know what error name and number of the latest crashes were.

On a side note. Please make sure that there are no left overs of previously uninstalled security programs around. Not all uninstallers do a proper job. And left over applications, drivers or services can cause all sort of "interesting effects".

Try using removal tools for those programs to remove them. Here is a list of removal tools for common av programs: http://kb.eset.com/esetkb/index?page=content&id=SOLN146 .

Hello. I ended up formatting and reinstalling the Windows operating system. The problem has disappeared. I installed CIS and everything perfect.
