I noticed when you manally update CIS the Time and Date will change and state that the Database has been updated on the exact same time you checked even if there is no database update.

isnt that alittle misleading and when CIS checks even if there isnt a update it will still show the time it checked.

I noticed that also, as far as I can tell, it is not meant to be misleading in my opinion. I viewed it as simply telling me when the last check was made, but certainly I can see where it could appear it is updated on every check going by the statement "last updated".

If you have show balloon messages enabled, it will tell you when it is checking and if there is an update, another balloon will show letting you know database is either up to date, or is being updated.
