Hi there.  I downloaded and installed your Anti-spam program.  I have Multi users on my computer, actually just two set up.  On my side I got your program to work fine.  On my Wife's side it would not work right.  Every time I checked for e-mails on her side, I had to re-enter her information over again.  And it would not let me activate it with the password you sent me.  Is it not possible to use it with Multiple Users set up?

I guess no one uses the Multi-Users settings  on their systems!  I have it setup so that I can have a different background, Favourites Menu, etc... than on my Wife's Mulit-User settings.  I have installed many programs with this, and have never has so much trouble, than I've had with this Anti-Spam program.  It's too bad, cause it seems like a nice piece of software.  I'll just look for some other program that will work!!

Well, I never thought I'd get it working, but it turns out that my wife's side had a different User Name.  Changed it to what it should have been, and now it seems to be working fine!  Multi-Users is great, but like working on two systems at once.

Mailman,

Sorry that no one responded.  Glad you got it worked out, and posted your findings.

For other users' benefit, can you clarify a little more about the user name issue?

Such as, where was the name incorrect - email client application, or antispam?  Where/how did you find out there was a variance, and how did you correct it?  Also, what email app are you using?

Tnx,

LM

Hi Little Mac.  I was installing the Anti-spam program.  On my User side everything turned out good. On my Wife's side in the E-mail Settings configuration, it had my username, so I changed it to her user name.  I also have Identities through Outlook Express, and when you use that, one can use a different user name than the other.  Something so simple, but sometimes hard to discover.  Everything seems okay so far.  I haven't had any junk mail, arrive in my Outlook Express Inbox.  Great program.  Hope development for it continues!

Tnx again, Mailman!

I will go ahead and mark the topic as resolved, and close it.  If you need it reopened, just PM a Moderator (please include a link back here) and we will be glad to do so.

PS:  I also changed the topic/subject line to better reflect the nature of the issue, so it will be more "searchable"
