Well, i read your posts, i have been thinking, and yes, you are right. I uninstalled ST(because are a runing process) and Win patrol was deleted of start up.

Because Avast! is my personal choice, I have used it for a year, Its great!   Grin

Especially because it beats the hell out of Avira

but Avast also has Avast 5 coming out this summer which will be a MAJOR improvement to the already great 4.8  Wink

yes. supposedly it is going to have "99.9%" detection rates. i doubt it, but it will still be amazing. can't wait!  Bounce

So many stuff to try out lol. My internet has been crap so I havn't been on for some time now. I guess I'm lucky I manage to get on. I was wondering can internet problem cause security issues?

To the point your download speed on fast sites is 5kbps and your ping to online games 1k is considered safe?  Huh

Sorry, I was being facetious. I was implying that if you can't get to them, they can't get to you.

Speed isn't a major factor in security, IMHO. If the hole is there, it just means that bad guys can crawl through it slower.

The speeds you've quoted are more like analog modem speeds. I assume it's supposed to be faster than that. Has it been faster in the past and if so, have you contacted your ISP to get them to check your connection?

The problem started last march but it was todlerable backt hen but whenever my ISP said they fixed it umm the worst it become.
