I find, sometimes, I have to use Internet Explorer; to use an Addon which has only been released for that particular Browser. I also use it for Google Tool Bar's 'Spell Checker' as Chrome doesn't have a Google Tool Bar, oddly enough. I've never had any problems with Internet Explorer. And I love Windows XP.

As we can see Symantec is a bit nervous about MSE.

Off-Topic! Yep, but it is also interesting to note they posed what they wrote as advices, and many people will carry those very perspectives around probably without second thoughts.

Sorry if it's been asked before has anybody tested this in tandem with CIS ?
And does it fight each other if it finds an infection ? which of the two acts first ?

I have it with CIS (FW and D+) from June 23 and it works like a charm.
The few times I had infection threats MSE always popped in first and there were no conflits with Comodo either then or ever.

The 1gb RAM requirement does seem a little strange. MSE looks interesting and I was thinking of talking my ladyfriend into trying it so she doesn't have to pay to renew her existing AV,but she only has 512mb of RAM and would have to buy more. Knowing her, she would most likely pay the $40 to renew instead of getting another RAM stick for about $15 from Newegg lol. Her hard drive thrashes away all the time and I have told her numerous times that I could fix that and make everything she does run smoother but no go to this point.

Thought I'd play with it a little today; seems to be quite resource hungry...

Mine too, constant 90 - 95 cpu utilisation in a scan and increased private bytes in excess of 250k. I'll not mention the peak working set...

Anyway, played for two days, it may have good detection, but It's way to hungry. Maybe version 2 Smiley

Try it on an older single core CPU. The system is almost totally unusable during a scan.

Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?  Cheesy
