I need to report the latest.  I sent my log report to Marcin at Malwarebytes and in a few minutes a fix was posted and the latest scan was what I expected.  Thanks Marcin and Malwarebytes.  Excellent little program!

That is a very bad judgement without even testing our product. Sad how you can make a judgement like that.

John, if you visit our contact page (I do not want to 'spam' any links here or get in trouble with the admins) you will find my e-mail address to which you can send the logs. This is a big problem and I will get to the bottom of it immediately.

Marcin  Grin

Well I saw the false positives that were brought up, so I dont need to test the program to see how it works.  Now that its fixed I commend you, but ill wait for future releases.

Info-Sec Smiley

How can you be so sure that those where false positives Huh It could have been a bug related to the non default installation as well Wink At least they fixed it, and fast Smiley

Well first of all I need to say that this little program has a future  Grin.

Only the test results from the testing malware I got, I get some dissapointing results

NOT a virus : 0/116   which is normal because it's antispyware ( I just tested it because these days they could have included it without you asking it, or is this just Comodo  Cheesy)
Other malware : 2/2035
Worms : 1/2350

So, heu Malwarebytes is there anything were I can send these files to ?

The problem for starting anti virus/spyware/malware scanners is always the detection rate, and how to improve it.

In my opinion you can follow two strategies using the research time you have for malware :

1 ) Researching as much malware that you can possibly find, and so spending a lot of time too on researching old malware that has a small chance to get infected with.

2 ) Most and for all researching malware that people are recently infected with, and so there is a high chance to get infected with.

I would prefer the 2nd strategy in the beginning and make researching recent malware my priority Smiley

What about preventing the malware to do anything?
Then you will need less detection.

[ at ] red, I'm with you on the strategy but have to tell you that the samples are like 4 months old. (which is still quite new, not?)

In every case, take CFP and BoClean and use an several on-demand scanners to delete was has gone through the nets, for example (very suprisingly probably  Grin) Malwarebytes.

Melih will agree with you 100% there,he's always saying about prevention being better than cure (which of course it is!).The full, paid version of MBAM does offer real-time protection so it'll be interesting to see how well this performs in the real world. Cheers

Yes, so companies like Comodo and Malwarebytes will appreciate it when you submit such samples Smiley

They're already submitted to comodo ... Tongue

Problem is that I still don't understand the malwarebytes site, were is the submission 'thing' ?
I would have downloaded them to downtown.vc, but the problem is : my internet connection here is like 0,1 kb a second, which means it will take days to submit them ...
