The only thing I find interesting about Rising AV is that their website URL

http://www.freerav.com

obviously waits for drunk people unintentionally mistyping a certain similarly sounding URL known as:

http://www.free-av.com

that - as we all know - leads to our lovely AVIRA

Shouldn't we rather call that a cheap kind of phishing attempt from Beijing? (lol)

Pros: Many useful features, real-time protection, the scan-engine is quite fast, low memory usage.

Cons: so far nothing.

as the poster "ryankiss" said so on the fifth of june 2008, ALL OF US will now immediately remove those oh so bad AVIRA's, AVG's and avast's from our systems... 

What fools we must've been to even think of them ever being able to protect us...

Now, enter RYANKISS. 

We've seemingly got a new GURU to follow now. 

And if he told us so tomorrow we'd even remove all our former security progs, because having no security prog at all could mean not being exposed to yet unknown vulnerabilities of those progs. 

Now, that's what I'd call ultimate wisdom.

I have did some search for Rising antivirus , which is No.1 security product vedor in China ,more than 40 millions paid users .does it need recur to AVIRA ??

But I guess it beats NORTON at least, so be 

I prefer using Avira, though.

Still constantly switching your security set up  I see duke (aka woodward). The Proactive Defense is the same as KAV's and should be disabled since D+ is far superior.
