Of course A2 free is a top quality malware scanner but I'm not sure that testing in this way gives a true representation of how good MBAM is.
A2 is a full-spectrum scanner with a great many signatures,etc whereas MBAM is designed to be a more surgical application,targetting a relatively small number of prevailent threats that are evading detection by the main AVs.
