If you were to receive a licensed NORTON 2008, will you use it or not?

My ASUS P5Q SE2 came with a free NORTON 2008, and you can install it along with the drivers of the motherboard. I think it is a full version.

DO NOT use NORTON 2008 !!!  Shocked It's slow, buggy and the detection is poor. 2009 and 2010 are better.

Get something free instead ! CIS or Avast or Avira or AVG  Smiley

I will not use it.

Use one of follwoing Antivirus.

1.Antivir Thumb Up
2.Avast
3.CAV

Paid Antivirus.
1.Kaspersky 2010 Thumb Up
2.Nod32 V.4
3.Norton Antivirus 2010


What about AVG?
I will not use AVG. Thumb Down

My Asus notebook came with a free trial of NIS 2009 for 3 month. Not worth the effort Tongue

But don't forget to use the Norton removal tool :

hmm, i've several times removed preinstalled NIS on my laptops using Revo uninstaller. never needed norton removal tool.  Afro

yo bro.... my friend give me a copy of keygen of norton 360 with 11years license... although it illegal. i have to try if before i recommended to my company and if it good then we'll buy it for our director.. but...

for me... i use it only for 2months then change to avg then comodooo.... imagine yourself why i use norton only 2month....

If the software bundle with motherboard, dont even think norton will give 365days of free full version antivirus... its normally can use up to 180days.. after that u have to buy... they just bluffing you wwoooo
