Did I say that................I don't think I did. LOL. I meant NOD32 was the best #20 I spent.

They're supposedly working out some of the last minute bugs...like Vett's cracked version.

Yeah Vett, you wouldn't want to be the first hypocrite police officer - you'd better turn yerself in.

I personally think it's a victim-less crime...I downloaded a cracked ver. of CFP3 from a warez site and all I had to do was type in my social security number and date of birth. Nobody's gettin' hurt there...

Up here in CT there are tons of crooked cops. The past few months about 6 cops from different towns got the boot. I am trying to be a cop. Its a long process. I have an oral board interview on the 15th.

This may seem crazy, but not only does the Web Guard not slow down my browser - it seems a little faster.

Weird.

Well I went back to NOD32 with web guard for a couple of weeks but now I am using Avira Premium 8 with web guard and Avira is alot quicker. Hey Comofo I popped my head in at Wilders and people are complaining there web speeds are slow. What idiots. Do you really think a top notch av scanner like Avria would make your web speeds slopw down. But over there you have the MOST PARANOID people around. People use 6 layers of protection including Sandboxie then wonder why they have problems. All I need is Avira 8 and Comodo and I am damn safe. Scan once a week with SAS. I install BOCLean but dumped it cause I don't care for the 22,000K hit.

NOD32 is good but every once in awhile it locks up my games. Its been all versions of 3.0. Avira runs 15,000K lighter then NOD32 also. They are both good but I feel safer with Avira.

Odd.  I have never had any problems with NOD locking up my games.  I play MMO's so they aren't the lightest games Wink

I play WOW,COD4,BF2,BF2142,TF2,HL2,TimeShift.GOW,NFSMW,Q4,QWars,C&C3,GRAW,U2K,Sins Of A Solar Empire. Its not all the time. Happened about once a month. I thought it was Comodo but the problem only went away after uninstalling NOD32.

Hey all you Avira users........The default updater is set to run every 24 hours. Avira comes out with updates alot more then that. I changed my updater schedule to every 2 hours in invisible mode. That way there I am always up to date with what the website shows. KAV and NOD32 are set to update every hour be default.  Nerd
