I've tried with several files, but the result was the same. The exclusions does not work at all.

So, what can i do now?I'm completely helpless and feel myself stupid.Fix this, please, it's very important setting to me.And i believe, not just to me, but everybody.

Exclusions work fine on fixed drives.

Since any media fed into a removable drive is suspect, an exclusion will not work. This is by design.

He's right. CIS treats all files on removable media as absolutely untrustable. You can't make a D+ rule for them and you can't exclude them. Exclusions work on fixed media only.

When attempting to create a rule on removeble media there should be an alert describing this.

Well, why comodo permits to put the file in the exclusions, if this thing will never work?

That's a better description of the fault.

Ideally, CIS would display an alert stating something like "You cannot exclude files on removable media".

Please add this to the wishlist.

If it were me, I wouldn't use what is obviously a crack file to explain my point. There are only so many uses for a crack, most of which are on the dark side of the ledger.  Wink

It's not a crack, it's a keygen.  Grin Sorry!I can delete my attachments, if it's against the rules. But, how can explain this, without examples? To put a real virus in the exclusion list?  Grin

Not much difference...

You didn't have any other files on the disk that weren't illegal questionable to use as an example?

You could also have described what it was you were doing that wasn't working. The screenshot did however make it easy to see what the problem was.

Imagine that.I have not other illegal files.Just this and another keygen for FIFA 09. If you don't like it, just can tell that. And one more thing. The english is not my mother's language and it's bit difficult for me to describe things.Smiley

But, how can explain this, without examples?

You could have downloaded any legitimate file to a removable device. It's not the nature file that prevents it being excluded, its the location - the removable media.

Cheers,
Ewen :-)

Yes, but specially this one is completely harmless. Why should be classified as a malware, if it CANNOT do any harm of your computer?

Guns don't kill - people do.

A keygen may not contain malware, but that doesn't mean it won't be used to contravene a contract or license.
