All encrypted files gone bad after download of Comodo ???

Removed McAfee off my laptop and replaced it with comodo anti-virus. Use it along side of malwarebytes and windows 7 OS for a platform. Use windows 7 for my firewall along with my routers. As soon as Comodo was installed all my file folders that were encrypted went bad (corrupted) and could not longer be read. Any ideas of suggestions would be great. Did I let Comodo shut something down that I should not have. It has defense + working also and wants to shut down most everything.
